Course description: The course is one semester meets for 2 and half hours of lecture every week.

  1. What are anabolic steroids. Name the different types of anabolic steroids available. Explain their mode of action. What are the side effects of anabolic steroids?
  2. Anabolic steroids are illegal to use. According to the documentary, are there others things or actions which are equally risky and dangerous but are legal. Give your views on it.
  3. Explain some of the arguments in favor and against of anabolic steroids.
  4. What in your view should be the fate of the steroids, should they be legal or illegal.



Watch the documentary ‘Super Size Me' and write 2-3 page report on what you think about Chris Bell's hormones levels would be before and after the food challenge.
